Stuart Drescher, Ph.D.

Dr. Drescher maintains a full-time clinical practice in psychology and selectively consults with businesses in organizational & cultural dynamics.  His clinical work focuses in two areas: a depth approach to relationships, personal growth and healing; and a discovery approach in working with people who have cancer, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Lupus, and arthritis.  His Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or to set up an appointment. Phone: (801) 829-1629 Email: with illness emphasizes coping, adapting, and living with meaning.  His practice includes group psychotherapy as a key modality, and he teaches meditation individually and in classes.

His approach is an expression of work in Jungian theory, Transpersonal psychology, and MindBody Wellness that has stretched across his career.  During that time he was further influenced by writers/practitioners studying the impact of childhood development on adult experience, and his clinical approach represents a synthesis of these perspectives.

As a member of MINDBODY WISDOM, a non-profit sponsored by the CENTER, he teaches classes, leads groups, and facilitates the network of providers.  Dr. Drescher previously taught at the University of Utah, and continues to teach and lecture regularly in the areas of health and wellness.
