Although psychotherapy and medical interventions are important for dealing with chronic pain and depression, there are several activities you can do on your own that have been scientifically demonstrated to help build wellness, reduce pain and increase daily functionality.


Such activities can train you in developing the skills that you can utilize for the rest of your life. Some of these skills are mindfulness, breathing, relaxation and gentle movement. These activities include:
